Customs Brokerage

Southern Customs Brokers  is a fully licensed and accredited U.S. Customs brokerage firm serving clients since 2007. Our National Permit allows us to clear entries across all 50 states via remote location filing (RLF). 

Southern will interact with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and other government agencies on behalf of all clients to guarantee the uninterrupted clearance of goods. Our goal is to guide clients systematically and efficiently through the Import & Export process – consistently in full compliance with the regulations of the CBP; determining and ensuring payment of all duties and tariffs owed the U.S. government; processing claims; and overseeing logistics until products reach their intended destination.

Processing and releasing cargo with the use of Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Electronic Manifest (e-Manifest) is just one way we facilitate and ensure this process. This and other tools make it possible for Southern to oversee entry processing, shipment monitoring, and entry history review. Furthermore, the real-time transfer of all data means we can provide clients current information at all times.

We offer logistics management for the delivery of goods to a variety of locations, including warehouses and storefronts. This means that upon arrival in the U.S., Southern will take imports from customs clearance to inland delivery anywhere within the continental U.S. This includes the handling of personal shipments and high-value commodities.

In order to meet the demands of our clients, Southern can also serve as a skilled, single point-of-contact, meeting warehousing and inland transportation needs through our sister companies Southern Warehouse and Southern Cartage.
